Watching children play, you can see their innocence, naivety, and sheer happiness. I recently read in The Conversation by Hill Harper, a phase that summed up these characteristics, called the “Lightness of being”. Pretty cool way of describing something we all can relate to.
So what happens to all that joy and zest for life many of us had as kids? At what point in our lives did we stop having fun, smiling or laughing too much? Did we forget our jovial demeanors on the playground with our favorite My little Pony doll with the lavender hair? Or did we trade them in for “adulthood”? With age, knowledge, and life experiences (both good and bad), we tend to loose this Lightness of being.
Today, we shall find it. Get in touch with your inner child: Laugh, Dance, Smile, and for goodness sake have some FUN!
